Behind every artwork, there’s also a bit of DIY. Behind every artwork, there’s also a bit of DIY. For my stained glass pieces, I needed a proper light table. Instead of searching for the perfect one, I built it myself. I found a simple glass table and turned it into a working tool with some wood, LED strips and a few basic connections. Sometimes, when you need a specific tool, the easiest way is just to make it yourself. Being an artist is not only about painting. It’s also about building the space and the tools that allow the work to exist. // Derrière chaque œuvre, il y a aussi un peu de bricolage. Pour mes vitraux, j’avais besoin d’une table lumineuse adaptée. Plutôt que de chercher l’outil parfait, je l’ai fabriqué moi-même. Une simple table en verre, un peu de bois, des rubans LED et quelques connectiques… et l’outil prend forme. Parfois, quand on a besoin d’un outil spécifique, le plus simple est de le créer soi-même. Être artiste, ce n’est pas seulement peindre.
